FUN WITH FLUTE SATURDAY, 3 OCTOBER 2026
Peter Rivers, a village resident, with his family and friends, will be giving an afternoon concert in St John the Baptist, Kingston Bagpuize, on Saturday 3rd October at 3pm. A light-hearted, eclectic, presentation of classical and folk flute music through the ages (18th-20th centuries), featuring solo flute, plus flute in ensemble with guitar, violin, oboe, clarinet and piano. All welcome including children. Free entry. Refreshments in the interval.
A wonderful way to spend an autumn afternoon.
There will be a voluntary retiring collection in aid of Malawi Association for Christian Support - a charity that the church and village have been supporting for many years, raising money for the hospitals in Malosa and Malindi. We hope that any money raised at this event will go towards the purchase of much needed specialist hospital beds.
